Wine Bouquet Varietal Cabernet overtones are evident with mint, faint licorice, and subtle hallmarks of French oak in spice, cedar and a tobacco like edge. Some herbal elements are also apparent with lashings of ripe berry fruit. Wine Palate This is a well structured medium weight wine, with ample flesh and flavor across the long palate. The Cabernet brings fresh mint and cassis to the palate, whilst the Merlot adds weight in the mid palate completing the picture. French oak adds support with elements of tobacco, cedar and considerable complexity. The tannins are fine, tight and give the wine great enjoyable length of flavor.
