Wine Colour
A rich deeply coloured wine with a youthful crimson red colour at release.

Wine Bouquet
An enticing aroma combination of the rich ripe berries and cassis that are the appeal of Clare Valley cabernet and the minty overtones from the Coonawarra sourced fruit. Complex characters from the French oak of tobacco, cedar and cigar box add to the overall appeal.

Wine Palate
A well-balanced wine, with a long palate. The palate begins with juicy fruit followed by the fine-grained, soft Cabernet tannins. The tannins lend themselves to the great length and persistence of the wine. The palate shows an array of Cabernet Sauvignon varietal characters including tobacco leaf, mint, spice and cassis.

Cellaring Notes
Whilst the wine is approachable on release it will benefit from careful cellaring up to and beyond 2012.
