Wine Colour
At release, a dark red almost opaque.
Wine Bouquet
The wine has extremely lifted, varietal aromas of cassis, cherry and subtle aniseed along with mint and a touch of eucalyptus. Secondary, complex aromas of dark chocolate, tobacco, cinnamon and nutmeg are also evident.
Wine Palate
Incredibly intense fruit characters of cherry, cassis, mint and subtle aniseed fill the mouth, followed by subtle secondary characters of cinnamon, spice and cedar from French oak maturation. The palate is generous in texture and flavour - beginning with sweet fruit and then ending in soft, fine-grained tannins. The finish is long and pleasingly persitant.
Cellaring Notes
Will reward careful cellaring to 2013, possibly beyond.

Members' Choice, clear winner across six roadshow tastings. Intense, luscious, juicy. Blackcurrant and blueberry fruit flavours. Charred oak. A marvellous mouthfeel; you can roll this one around your cheeks and chew it. Grippy finish.
