Wine Colour
At release, a deep opaque crimson with a vibrant red hue.
Wine Bouquet
The wine has lifted, aromas of violets, blackcurrant, cassis and liquorice along with complex, earthy aromas of cigar box and subtle mint.
Wine Palate
The wine has a full-bodied palate with good balance between fruit and tannins. Ripe flavours of black current and cassis abound, followed by subtle secondary French oak characters of cedar and spice. The tannins are fine and elegant and the finish is long and persistent.
Cellaring Notes
Will reward careful cellaring in ideal conditions to 2016, and possibly beyond.

Wine with Mike Frost
This has blackcurrant, mint and dark chocolate characters on the nose and rich palate with cedary oak and spice. Try it now or cellar for another five years or more.

Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, December 2010
2008 Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon gives a medium-deep garnet-purple color and aromas of creme de cassis and kirsch with nuances of graphite and chocolate. Crisp, full and concentrated in the mouth, it has firm grainy tannins, and a long juicy finish. Drink this one now through 2015.
