Wine Colour
On release, the wine is pale straw with a slightly green tinge to the edge.

Wine Bouquet
The wine has a lifted, complex aroma of subtle white peach and nectarine along with secondary aromas of cream and cashew nuts from lees stirring and oak maturation.

Wine Palate
The palate is elegant in weight and delicate in structure yet rich in flavours. The Clare Valley component delivers mid-palate weight and richness with fleshy stone fruit flavours. The Adelaide Hills component delivers elegance and length. Barrel fermentation and subsequent battonage has given the wine a deliciously creamy mid palate. French oak fermentation and maturation has added a strong cashew character and subtle spice to the palate. The wine has a clean and crisp acid structure and great persistence.

Cellaring Notes
The wine can be enjoyed now or will reward careful cellaring in ideal conditions up to and beyond 2013.

    Our Picks
To me, the attraction of the wine is the terrific balance of oak, fruit, medium palate weight and enough acid to give it a crisp finish that belies the relatively economical price point.
