Wine Colour
On release, the wine is very pale straw colour.

Wine Bouquet
The aroma evolves in the glass, initially displaying white peach, cream and complex smoky bacon aromas. Secondary aromas of lemon and nectarine along with cedar and a touch of spice then become evident.

Wine Palate
The Clare Valley component delivers mid-palate weight and richness with fleshy nectarine fruit flavours. The Adelaide Hills component delivers elegance and length with restrained white peach and citrus flavours to the mid-palate. Barrel fermentation and subsequent battonage has given the wine a delicious, creamy character. French oak fermentation and maturation has also added a complex smoky bacon character and subtle spice to the palate. The wine has a clean, pure acid line and great persistence.
