Jaraman
Riesling 2005
x11
The Clare Valley provides intense flavours of fresh lemons, limes and focussed natural acidity that marry perfectly with the restrained mineral acidity and fragrant floral aromas of the Eden Valley.

Wine Colour
Pale straw yellow colours with green tinged hues.
Wine Bouquet
The wine has a fresh lively aroma of lemon, lime and rose petals. This is balanced by flinty mineral characters from the Eden Valley portion of fruit.
Wine Palate
The wine has powerful lemon, lime fruit characters throughout the palate along with an elegant minerality through the mid palate and into the finish. The acid is zesty and fresh yet not overpowering. The wine has great persistence, structure and finesse.
Suggested Food Matching
A perfect food match is seafood. Try a combination of oysters - Riesling’s ultimate food accompaniment or an Atlantic salmon steak with preserved lemon couscous.
Critics Notes
“Intense lime juice aromas with an apricot character. Lovely palate – quite potent – with lots of limes, grapefruit and loquats.” Winestate Magazine, Wine and Spirits Insider, Special Edition 2006.
“For me, this is the best wine yet under the mid-priced Jaraman (seahorse in the local Aboriginal tongue) label of Clare Valley's largest producer, Taylors. Atypically, since most of Taylors' wines are proudly and solely Clare, this is a blend of Eden Valley and Clare riesling that is aromatic, intensely limey, clean, fresh and fine. It is packed with layer after layer of mouth-puckering flavour before a vibrant finish that lingers.” Peter Forrestal, The Bulletin, April 20 2007
