Wine Colour
At release the wine is deep red with a youthful purple hue.
Wine Bouquet
Coffee, mocha and dark chocolate are evident on the bouquet. Varietal aromas of plum, ripe berry, aniseed and black olive are also evident.
Wine Palate
A youthful yet generous and rich Shiraz with a great mid palate presence. The wine has excellent length of flavour and a drying finish. Raspberry, aniseed, chocolate and vanilla flavours are evident throughout the palate. The classy oak is well balanced by varietal fruit characters.
Suggested Food Matching
A thick T Bone steak with green veggies and fried sweet potato.
Cellaring Notes
Whilst being immediately approachable the wine will reward patient careful cellaring up to and beyond 2014.
