Wine Colour
On release, the wine is a vibrant crimson red.
Wine Bouquet
Vibrant spicy aromas of red currant, plum and a touch of spice.
Wine Palate
Juicy blackcurrant fruits along with subtle coffee and savoury cedar flavours and a smooth gentle finish.
The quality of the Padthaway and Clare Valley components really sets this wine apart. Distinctly flavoursome and true to its varietal origins – but at once soft and approachable. This is the sort of wine you know you should share but just want to keep to yourself.

Epicure
This unfussed young red has a minty nose that suggests some Clare Valley influence, although the label identifies its origins only with ""South Australia"". Blackcurrant and briary touches tread a fruity/savoury track on the nose, and the light to medium-bodied palate has good intensity with a slight bite of tannin.

This nicely priced red shows blackcurrant and plum on the nose and palate, with a touch of spice, background oak and a fine tannin finish. Enjoy over the next few years with barbecued lamb chops or lamb and rosemary sausages.

West Australian, July 2011
Displays some juicy fleshy varietal cabernet character. There's excellent blackcurrant and light plum aromas in here with a rich medium bodied palate delivering a good belting of honest flavour.

Wine. Three of the Best
When it comes to a value for money wine you just can't go past the Promised Land labels from Taylors'. It's a reputation they have proudly built up over a number of years and once again this cab sav delivers the goods.
