Delightful wine with 'loud', flowery citrus, sherbet - like aromas and very, very long, intense and powerful perfumed palate with spicy citrus flavours. Very pure, very nice.

Wine of the Week
South Australia's Clare Valley provides some of Australia's greatest rieslings and a ""trickle flown effect"" makes it a happy hunting ground for bottles that won't break the bank. This example ticks all the boxes: lime, floral and steely aromas of real varietal purity, a spicy but smooth mid-palate of good depth counterpointed by brisk, refreshing acidity. A presentable length of flavour.

... gives intense acacia honey, lemon drop and key lime aromas. Light bodied, dry and crisp with a good intensity of citrus flavors, it has a medium-long finish. Drink it now to 2012.

The Riesling Tasting
Slightly honeyed nose, with hints of kerosene. Finishes crisp and clean - a good food wine.
