Wine Colour
At release, straw with a green tinge to the hue.
Wine Bouquet
The wine has a fresh, lifted aromas of white peach and subtle cashew nut aromas from the oak adding complexity to the fruit characters.
Wine Palate
The palate has a rich texture whilst still retaining a slightly minerally acid backbone, giving it an overall elegance. The mid palate is medium-bodied with a touch of creaminess from the lees maturation and battonage. Flavours of white peach, cream and cashews are evident along with cleansing citrus at the finish. The wine has wonderful length from the use of quality French oak.
Cellaring Notes
Designed to drink superbly well upon release, it will also age gracefully with careful cellaring to 2015, possibly longer.
