Critics Notes
"Put your seatbelt on, I tasted twenty Clare Valley Shirazs blind and picked this one as the winner on exuberence, flamboyance and notes like 'serious, superb,
stunning, devilish and love it'...this wine is spectacular..." Matthew Jukes,
Daily Telegraph(UK)2001.
“It has an abundance of rich, ripe, dark cherry and plum fruit with great depth and structure to its outstanding palate. Tannins and oak each play a role but are balanced and integrated. I cannot imagine the wine will lose any of its richness before 2015.” James Halliday, Judge~The Great Australian Shiraz Challenge 2001
(The Australian, 20th Oct, 2001)
“Mulberry, plum with pepper on the nose. In the mouth, big, concentrated and complex mulberry plum white pepper. It’s very approachable. With the food, the velvety powerfulness if this wine succeeds. It may be the best match of all.” Darryl Beeson (USA), Sydney International Wine Competition 2002, Top 100 Wines
