Wine Colour
Intense red blacks with a brick red hue.
Wine Bouquet
A wine of considerable intensity and well ripened fruit. Ripe cherry and plum characters are supported with coffee, cinnamon and black olive nuances. Barrel fermentation has provided the complex characters of chocolate and cashew nuts.
Wine Palate
A rich wine with sweet fruit and a luscious mid palate. While being mouth filling and generous, the palate retains elegance and well balanced natural acidity. The palate shows the results of high quality oak use with overtones of vanilla and subtle tobacco characters. The wine has a long, persistent finish.
Cellaring Notes
Delicious upon release but will reward careful cellaring. Ideal to 2010, even possibly to 2012.
