Wine Colour
At release, the wine is a dark red with an intense purple hue.
Wine Bouquet
At release, distinct aromas of black cherries, ripe strawberries abound with secondary spice, sweet mocha and cigar box characters evident
Wine Palate
At release, this wine is medium to full-bodied with lush red berry, plum and red cherry fruit characters. The fruit flavours are balanced by undertones of creamy mocha, spice and subtle savoury characters. The palate has a soft, velvety texture with grainy tannins through the mid-palate and a long, persistence to the finish.

Easy Wines
Dark chocolate, coffee bean and vanilla characteristics. The softer merlot style is winning more and more Australian drinkers. This one wonÆt disappoint and it wonÆt break the bank.

Clare Valley fruit. A hint of plum, little else to entice. More to offer on the palate, bit of tannic grip: some leafy, fruit elements present here. Modicum of spice carried by loose tannin.

Lived up to its reputation as a consistently good red by winning gold at last month's San Francisco International Wine Competition. Supple and smooth, plum and berry fruit on the nose and palate, integrated spice, savoury characters, lovely balance and fine tannins.

Strong and velvety, this merlot isn't for the faint of palette. Perfect with cheese and biscuits, or a large steak and mash.
