Wine Colour
At release the wine has a bright red colour with a brilliant purple hue. This colour will develop as the wine ages.
Wine Bouquet
The aroma is full of fresh fruit especially black cherries and strawberry. The fruit characters are complexed with some lovely gamey characters along with faint tobacco, cinnamon and cedar characters.
Wine Palate
The wine has gorgeous black cherry fruit flavours with a persistent, underlying savoury character. It has a fleshy, soft but rich mid palate with long, fine tannins and a subtle but persistent finish.
Cellaring Notes
Sealed under screw cap to preserve the lifted aromas into the future. The wine will age with careful cellaring to 2010, possibly longer.
