Wine for Touch Times
A remarkably poised and polished wine, very tasty with just enough gentle, dry tannins to balance sweet and savoury fruit flavours.

The winner of the `Best Value Red Wine' at this year's Sydney International Wine Challenge over-delivers for the money. There is a good lick of vanilla here from some time spent in American oak.

Wine Watch
This wine is loaded with palate seducing rich sweet berry fruit flavours. There is some well integrated oak there and the wine finishes smooth and long.

New Release
Quite minty with some beef jerky characters, spice, boiled fruitcake and blackcurrant - an interesting melange of flavours to say the least. Full bodied with juicy sweet fruit although it also looks dried out and lacks freshness. Tannins are dry and thereÆs a beef and chocolate aftertaste. Awkward sort of wine, although not necessarily a bad one. I prefer the Cabernet from this vintage.

Big, bold flavours still appeal
A balanced, spicy brambly shiraz with typical savoury nuances. Finely balanced palate with a tight inner core of fruit power. Has a nice mix of roasted coffee and light plum with a layer of cedar.

Shiraz Reviews
Taylors really do have to be commended for producing a consistently good wine, year in year out, for around the $15 mark - and turns out they have been commended, with them winning the ôBest Value Dry Red Table Wineö for this wine at the Sydney International Wine Competition. Kudos. Rich dense blackberry fruit & big rich flavours - nice silky tannins & a med-long finish.
