A juicy and flavorful red with dark berries, dark chocolate and walnut character. Full body, soft tannins and a savory finish. Merlot works. Better in 2019.

Bold crushed blackberry, stewed plums, both dark and milk chocolate as well as mint and cinnamon rose up in the aromas. On the mouth there was blue to black fruit, very dry and tannic, and some welcoming spice held in for a medium to long finish.

Very deep intense purple colour. Intense, spicy, somewhat juicy, black cherry-cassis nose with lots of cedar notes. Fairly dry, medium bodied, well balanced, harmonious, spicy, fairly juicy, ripe plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, cedary, fairly high acid finish.

    4 stars
A smoothly textured Merlot that is full bodied, ripely flavored (loganberry jam, red licorice), and fairly complex, with overtones of pepper, mint, and oak. It is balanced and medium long on the finish. Can be aged a bit. Wonderful value. Aged in American and French oak barrels. 14%

Screw cap. An exceptional Merlot at the price. It is supple, full bodied, and well balanced, with intense fruitiness (blackberry, cassis, loganberry), a hint of oak, and a medium long finish. Still youthful; will develop further. Great value. Aged in American and French oak barrels. 14% [2019- 2021]
