Think of a handful of fresh ripe cherries with a pinch of thyme and well-balanced oak toast. The palate bursts into life with upfront red cherry fruits, soft tannins, medium-bodied with plenty of fresh red cherry middle palate flavour. Cheap Pinot is a minefield. This is a value wine well worth the price. In fact the current Taylor's wines at this level are all faithful to the variety.
