Here’s an under-priced cabernet you won’t want to pass up; it punches way above the price. Spice, floral notes and red and black berry fruit aromas abound. It envelops the palate with a well-textured flow of alluring flavours—black juicy cherry and dark bramble berry fruit melding nicely with racy tang in the red cherry/berry spectrum. Medium-plus bodied, ready to drink and creamy smooth, it’s a perfect dance partner with meat-laden pizza, backyard burgers or grilled gourmet sausage.

A mouthwateringly juicy midweight Cab that quickly softens and intensifies with oxygen and time. Eucalyptus, blueberry, blackberry and cedar, it’s mouthwateringly juicy. Not the texture of a high-end Cab, to be sure, but lots for the money.

Mottled blackcurrant, plum and dark cherry allusions welded to a vanilla-cedar reference suggesting some form of oak. Olive and anise, too. A bit syrupy, but plenty of flavour on offer.

For less than $20 this is a damn gem. It’s soft and rich, with the tannin woven right in, adding to the all-around structure. It has a fun nose of classic black pepper, but with a juicy vibe that’ll remind you of blackberries and espresso. If you are a big griller, this is a great wine to have on offer at your next BBQ.
