During vintage every year, our winemaking team conduct a series of trials or projects to find continuous improvement in our existing wines and to innovate with new and interesting styles and varieties. The projects can range from things such as pruning or planting trials in the vineyard, to yeast or oak trials in the winery. Or even experimenting with alternative, new varieties from across the globe. We liken these small batch parcels of 'project wine' to the Formula 1 of the car industry. Dedicated research and development where the ultimate aim is to make each and every wine we craft better than the ones before. Previously, these small parcels of unique wine were lost once the research and development was completed but now, the best examples are bottled and released under the TWP label, as a unique offering exclusively for our restaurant and direct cellar door customers.
