On release, the wine is a crimson red colour with soft violet purple tinges to the hue.
nose
The wine has lifted fruit aromas of black berry fruits, plum and a hint of spice. There is also a bouquet of subtle cedar and vanilla from the oak influence.
palate
This is a very approachable, medium bodied wine with a silky smooth mouth feel and a lingering finish. A soft, round and gloriously fleshy palate delivers flavours of ripe plum, black berry fruit along with subtle chocolate and tobacco notes, finishing in a smooth and elegant fashion.
