Terms of service

Online Shopping Details

It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. If we have reason to believe that a person ordering wine is not 18 years of age or older, we reserve the right to refuse the order.

If you purchase products from Taylors, you warrant to us that:

  • you are over the age of 18 years; and

  • any person that you are obtaining the products for, or supply the products to, is over the age of 18 years

The contract between you and Taylors for the supply of goods purchased from the Online store (“the Contract”) only comes into existence when Taylors accepts your order. Taylors will notify you of acceptance. No obligation to sell the goods will arise until such acceptance. Each order you place will lead to a separate contract.

Anyone at the nominated delivery address who receives the goods shall be presumed by Taylors to be authorised to receive the goods.

While Taylors will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver by any requested or agreed date, it does not guarantee delivery on that date and is not liable for any Loss resulting from late delivery.

Risk and title in the goods passes to you upon delivery of the goods to the Delivery Address.

Taylors’ prices, products, discounts and offers are subject to change and can be withdrawn at any time without notice. The price payable for the goods is the price applicable on the date when Taylors confirms your order.

Errors and omissions: Occasionally there may be an error or omission related to the pricing or description of the Goods we sell. We will use reasonable endeavours to correct any errors or omissions as soon as practicable after being notified or learning of them. We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute, suspend, or remove without notice any information related to Goods for sale (including the Goods themselves).

Quantity Limits

In circumstances where Taylors Wines impose purchase quantity limits on products, we reserve the right to adjust the order to meet the quantity limit. When this occurs, a refund will be provided to the customer as soon as possible but within at most 10 days.

Promotions

All promotions, discounts, and special offers on our website are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice. Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added after an order is placed. Some exclusions may apply, including but not limited to gift cards, sale items, and limited-edition products. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any promotion in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these terms. By participating in our promotions, you agree to these terms and our general Terms of Service.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept payment by Shop Pay, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal or any other payment method we advise from time to time.

Are my financial details secure on your site?

Credit card details are not stored by Taylors Wines. Credit card details are held by Shop Pay and Braintree, our payment gateway service provider. These are certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, being the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

Shipping Information

All shipping is via Australia Post and parcel tracking information will be provided.

When will I receive my order?

For regular orders you can expect to receive your delivery within 5-10 business days of placing your order. Delivery times may be subject to stock availability. 

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver Australia wide, except to: designated Dry Areas, areas outside of the delivery network of our couriers and to places where we are not licensed to supply alcohol, as detailed in our Terms and Conditions.

How much does delivery cost?

* Please note that we are unable to deliver goods to locations excluded from Australia Post network. If you wish to obtain an estimate of the delivery cost for your area, please contact our customer

Can I authorise to leave my order if I’m not home?

WARNING

Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1997 (SA) it is an offence

  • To supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years [Penalty exceeds $10,000]

  • For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor [Penalty exceeds $1000]

Yes, you can have your delivery left outside your home or with another person if you cannot be present to receive your order. At the online checkout you can provide special instructions on where you want your parcel left. A person under 18 years of age cannot receive the delivery on your behalf and we reserve the right to refuse delivery of your order to a person aged under 18 years (we may require satisfactory proof of age to be produced upon request). Taylors Wines is not responsible for any loss resulting from late delivery when satisfactory proof of age is not provided.

If delivery instructions haven’t been provided and you aren’t present to receive your order, then a calling card will be left with a phone number to call within 7 days to arrange a re-delivery.

Taylors Wines is not responsible for goods that are left unattended at your request, or goods that remain unclaimed as a result of failing to contact the carrier after receiving a calling card.

What is your returns policy?

If you are a consumer, you are entitled to certain statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law with respect to our Goods.

In particular:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to receive a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does amount to a major failure.

I have received the wrong wine

Sometimes things don’t go to plan and we are very sorry if you have received an incorrect wine that you did not order. Please contact our friendly cellar door team via our online enquiry form here and attach clear photos of the item you have received, the delivery label and the packaging. Once you have submitted your enquiry, we will be able to review and provide you with a resolution.

My wine is faulty

Purchasing through Taylors Wines “Quality Guarantee” policy means that we endeavour to achieve a favourable outcome if your wine is deemed faulty. To help provide you with a speedy solution, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible via our online enquiry form here to let us know, providing your order number and further comments to describe the fault. Once you have submitted your enquiry, our friendly customer support team will be able to review and help provide you with a speedy resolution.

Change of mind policy

Change of mind returns are given at the sole discretion of Taylors Wines on a case by case basis. Please contact us via our online enquiry form here to check if your return can be accepted by us. Wines that are returned without Taylors Wines express approval will not be eligible for a refund.
