What's in the Winemaker's Selection packs?

Back Vintage Release Wines -
Direct from the museum cellar, these vertical collection packs showcase the nuances of Clare Valley terroir across a series of vintages.  Cellared to perfection for the true wine connoisseur.

--Directors Dozen XII Cabernet Sauvignon - This 12 bottle pack contains 4 bottles of consecutive back vintages (3 years in a row) of Taylors Estate Label Cabernet Sauvignon.  
--Directors Dozen XII Shiraz -This 12 bottle pack contains 4 bottles of consecutive back vintages (3 years in a row) of Taylors Estate Label Shiraz.
--Directors Dozen VI Riesling -This 6 bottle pack contains 2 bottles of consecutive back vintages (3 years in a row) of Taylors Estate Label Riesling.

Current Vintage Release Wines -
Each season, our winemakers select a group of wines that represents something for everyone - from interesting varieties or blends to blockbuster award winners and brand new vintage releases with each pack guaranteed to contain a wine from our award winning St. Andrews range.

--Premium Mixed Six Pack - This pack contains 3 bottles of red wine and 3 bottles of wine wine and is sure to surprise and delight those with varied tastes and a wide appreciation or just looking to explore.  
--Premium White Six Pack - This pack features a varied selection of varieties crafted on our estate that will delight those with a particular appreciation of white wine. 
--Premium Red Six Pack - This pack contains a varied selection of varieties with many of our most popular and outstanding examples of the red wines we craft. 

What happens when the vintages change?

We will automatically roll the wines onto the next vintage, so you won’t miss out. If by any chance we don’t make that particular wine that vintage- we will get in contact to let you know.

What is the cost of shipping?

Your Collector's Club subscription comes with free shipping anywhere in Australia.

Can I update my own details?

Yes, you can manage EVERYTHING when you log in to your account- from the packs you want to receive, to your delivery details and credit card information. Click the little person icon at the top of the page to login to your account if you have already have created one. If not, go through the signup process and upon checking out you will create an account with a password.

Can I change the frequency of delivery?

Yes, please Login to your Account and adjust at will, although be aware that it will affect your discount on the wines you’re selecting. The more frequent the delivery, the greater the discount!

I’m one of the Foundation Collector’s Club members (originally joined via Cellar Door), what happens to the management of my membership now that it is online?

As one of our valued Foundation members, we would have reached out to you directly prior to any changes coming into effect. If you are still unsure, please contact your Collector’s Club Concierge on FREECALL 1800 804 295 to discuss your membership.

If I upgrade my frequency of delivery will I get a better discount on my purchases?

Yes. You will receive discounts based on your pack selection and frequency of delivery.

If I downgrade my frequency of delivery will I lose my ongoing discount from my previous delivery schedule?

Yes. Your discounts are based on your pack selection and frequency of delivery.

Can I purchase a Collector’s Club membership as a gift?

Absolutely. Email us here if you want to include a special note to the lucky recipient. We all need family or friends like you.

Am I locked in or can I cancel at any time?

There is a 12-month minimum commitment to our Collector’s Club subscription packs. Send us an email here and we can assist with your cancellation. We will be upset, of course but understand that circumstances change.

How are my Credit Card details stored?

We use a separate, completely secure hosted vault to store your precious credit card information.

I have forgotten my password, how do I retrieve it?

Please click on the little person icon at the top of the page and select 'Login'. On this pop up window, you can click on “Lost Password”.

How can I receive a discount on purchases other than through the Collector’s Club?

Visiting Taylors Wines

Do I need to book?

Our Cellar Door is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Weekends and Public Holidays from 10am to 4pm.

Due to current government regulations regarding capacity restrictions, we strongly encourage you to contact us prior to visiting to avoid disappointment.  For both smaller groups and larger groups, you can use our email form or speak to one of our friendly team members using FREECALL 1800 804 295 to arrange a booking.

Do your Cheese Platters cater to specific dietary requirements?

Our platters are designed with the most common dietary requirements in mind (vegetarian, gluten free, nut free) so please ensure you advise the team member when making your booking.  Unfortunately, we cannot cater to any more complex dietary requirements.

How do I make group bookings?

You can request a booking for large groups of 8 people or more by using our email form or speak to one of our friendly team members using FREECALL 1800 804 295.

Tasting Experiences

How many wines are there to sample?

There are over 50 wines available to purchase at our cellar door, with many of them available to taste, either as part of the complimentary tasting list or included in a paid tasting experience or tasting flight.

Please note:  We encourage the responsible enjoyment of alcohol. 

Our tasting samples are 20ml, therefore 5 x samples is approximately 1 standard drink.

There are limited taxis in the area so we recommend you organise a driver or designated driver when planning a tasting at Taylors  

Does it cost to taste wines at Cellar Door?

We have a selection of wines available to taste free of charge along with tasting flights and tasting experiences that can be purchased.

Do you take bus groups and group bookings?

We welcome bus groups or group bookings by prior arrangement and are happy to tailor a tasting experience to your requirements.

Tastings start from $5 per person - depending upon the experience.

Please note that COVID19 restrictions with respect to Cellar Door area capacity apply. Please discuss options with the team when arranging your booking.

Can I buy bulk wine/wholesale?

Cellar Door is for retail sales only. 

Any wholesale or business enquiries should be directed to our Head Office Customer Service team on 02 8585 3555.

Can I buy a wine barrel?

Unfortunately we don’t sell wine barrels. We use them for many years and then re-purpose them on the grounds.

Do you offer tasting experiences away from the winery Cellar Door?

Yes, we can arrange private and corporate tasting events at your nominated venue for groups of 10 people or more.  Contact our Customer Experience Manager on FREECALL 1800 804 295 to discuss your requirements and to obtain a quote.

How do I purchase a gift voucher?

We offer eGift Cards that can be redeemed via our online Cellar Door.  Click here to view and purchase.

Do you make vegan wines?

A selection of our wine are vegan friendly with the majority also certified by Vegan Australia. Check the Wine Details section on the specific products' web page for to check if they are vegan friendly.  More information on Taylors Wines vegan friendly wines can be found here

Use of the Taylors Online Store

It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. If we have reason to believe that a person ordering wine is not 18 years of age or older, we reserve the right to refuse the order.

If you purchase products from Taylors, you warrant to us that:

  • you are over the age of 18 years; and
  • any person that you are obtaining the products for, or supply the products to, is over the age of 18 years

The contract between you and Taylors for the supply of goods purchased from the Online store (“the Contract”) only comes into existence when Taylors accepts your order. Taylors will notify you of acceptance. No obligation to sell the goods will arise until such acceptance. Each order you place will lead to a separate contract.

Anyone at the nominated delivery address who receives the goods shall be presumed by Taylors to be authorised to receive the goods.

While Taylors will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver by any requested or agreed date, it does not guarantee delivery on that date and is not liable for any Loss resulting from late delivery.

Risk and title in the goods passes to you upon delivery of the goods to the Delivery Address.

Taylors’ prices, products, discounts and offers are subject to change and can be withdrawn at any time without notice. The price payable for the goods is the price applicable on the date when Taylors confirms your order.

Errors and omissions: Occasionally there may be an error or omission related to the pricing or description of the Goods we sell. We will use reasonable endeavors to correct any errors or omissions as soon as practicable after being notified or learning of them. We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute, suspend, or remove without notice any information related to Goods for sale (including the Goods themselves).

Shipping Information

All shipping is via Australia Post and parcel tracking information will be provided.

When will I receive my order?

You can expect to receive your order within 3-10 business days of placing your order. Delivery times may be subject to stock availability. Please contact our customer service team on 1800 804 295 if you do not receive your order after 10 days.

Covid-19 delivery update: Australia Post are experiencing increased volumes, and as a result, you might experience a delay in delivery.  Please check the latest Australia Post announcements on COVID 19 delivery delays in your area here.

What payment types do you accept?

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard,  PayPal or any other payment method we advise from time to time.

Are my financial details secure on your site?

Credit card details are not stored by Taylors Wines. Credit card details are held by SecurePay, our payment gateway service provider. SecurePayis certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, being the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver Australia wide, except to: designated Dry Areas, areas outside of the delivery network of our couriers and to places where we are not licensed to supply alcohol, as detailed in our Terms and Conditions.

How much does delivery cost?

* Please note that we are unable to deliver goods to locations excluded from Australia Post network. If you wish to obtain an estimate of the delivery cost for your area, please contact our customer service team on 1800 804 295.

Can I cancel my order? 

You may cancel your order at any time before the payment for your order has been processed.

 Can I authorise to leave my order if I’m not home? 

WARNING

Under the Liquor Licensing Act 1997 (SA) it is an offence

  • To supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years [Penalty exceeds $10,000]
  • For a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor [Penalty exceeds $1000]

Yes, you can have your delivery left outside your home or with another person if you cannot be present to receive your order. At the online checkout you can provide special instructions on where you want your parcel left. A person under 18 years of age cannot receive the delivery on your behalf and we reserve the right to refuse delivery of your order to a person aged under 18 years (we may require satisfactory proof of age to be produced upon request). Taylors Wines is not responsible for any loss resulting from late delivery when satisfactory proof of age is not provided.

If delivery instructions haven’t been provided and you aren’t present to receive your order, then a calling card will be left with a phone number to call within 7 days to arrange a re-delivery.

Taylors Wines is not responsible for goods that are left unattended at your request, or goods that remain unclaimed as a result of failing to contact the carrier after receiving a calling card.

What is your returns policy?

If you are a consumer, you are entitled to certain statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law with respect to our Goods.

In particular:

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to receive a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does amount to a major failure.
