St. Andrews Riesling 2021

Nose: The wine displays zesty lemon and lime aromas along with faint orange blossom aromas.

Palate:The wine is quite restrained at release with a linear focus to the palate and purity of fruit flavours. Plenty of fresh lemon/lime juice characters abound with crisp and refreshing lime acidity down the mid-palate. All this is complimented by a persistent and refreshing finish.

Colour: At release, the wine is a very pale straw colour with a slight green tinge to the edge.

Vintage Condition: The season commenced with good late-winter and early-spring rains. Rainfall was then well below average for the remainder of the growing season. The latter half of the season was ideal for fruit development with some of the best conditions seen in the last 10 years. Overall, the ideal ripening conditions have produced stunning wines from this vintage.

Cellaring Notes: Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a long term under ideal conditions.
