Pinot Noir
Single Variety
Adelaide Hills
At release, the wine displays a bright cherry red colour with a medium garnet hue to the edges.
There are lifted notes of sour cherry, strawberry and cassis, with hints of cinnamon and subtle savoury spice. Fresh and perfumed, the nose also shows gentle tobacco and earthy complexity in the background.
This is a light and delicate wine with juicy palate weight, showcasing vibrant flavours of cherry, strawberry and plum. There is a subtle brooding core with hints of tobacco, supported by fine-grained tannins that add precision and length. The palate is bright and aromatic, with a crunchy acidity and strong varietal expression.
The wine was matured in fine grained French oak barrels for approximately 12 months prior to blending and bottling.
Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions.
