Sourced from two growers in Clare. Maturation in American oak for 12 months, 20% new, the balance 1-3 yo. The sweet, bourbon-like character of the oak is an influence no doubt, but the fruit shows quality. There's some depth to the raspberry and plum flavours, with a soft, mouthfilling juiciness and a degree of freshness which is a plus.

Lifted blueberry bouquet with powerful smokiness and excellent red berry flavours on a fresh palate that has an attractive drying finish.
