nose

The wine displays a distinctive regional expression of choc-mint along with cool climate aromas of violets, spice and cedar tobacco notes from French oak maturation.

Deliciously haunting flavours of blackcurrant, mint and dark chocolate persist around a finely tuned tannin structure and a thoroughly enjoyable long and persistent finish.

vintage conditions

The season for vintage 2020 in Coonawarra began well with good rainfall and the region was very fortunate not to have been affected by the bush fires that occurred throughout the 2019/2020 summer. Across the region, yields were down due to a cool spring; however, autumn ripening conditions were ideal and the fruit quality was high with great flavour concentration and lovely tannins.

cellaring notes

Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a long term under ideal conditions.
