The Aromantiques Rose 2024

Nose: Aroma of perfume, lime and citrus with red berry fruit, cheery fruit, rose water, floral orange blossom, melon and stone fruit. There are no oak contributions and no real bouquet as the aroma of fresh fruit is lifted and dominates the expression.

Palate:The palate is plush and energetic with good acid balance and great length of flavor. The palate is round and fleshy yet delicate and carries all the aromas across the palate especially the floral notes and the melon and stone fruit expression. Lovely freshness to this Rose which is best enjoyed slightly chilled.

Colour: Lovely pale color in the spectrum of peach or melon, light salmon pink, brilliant hue and clarity.

Oak Maturation: Oak maturation is not employed in Aromantiques Rose as the focus on fruit preservation and expression of varietal purity.

Vintage Condition: Machine harvested in the cool mornings to avoid the afternoon heat. Rushed to the winery for processing in draining bins which are designed to separate the juice from the fruit as soon as it is harvested, in the vineyard. This traps elegance and delicacy in the juice and minimizes unwanted extraction levels from occurring.
