Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of mulberry, briar bush, fennel, blackberry and currents, with faint licorice abound. The bouquet has some coffee notes, slight smoky edge, with background complexity and slight rustic edges.

Palate:Medium bodied with soft round curvaceous varietal expression. Plum and red berry fruit are evident across the palate, which has greaat freshness and is quite moorish. The palate has a suppleness, a lightness, which should develop beuatifully over the next 3-5 years, by 2026-2028. Serve with antipasta or grilled entrees.

Colour: Medium bodied with crimson red to a medium garnet core, cherry red hue and brilliant clarity. From the cool long late 2023 La Nina Vintage.
