At release the wine is a dark red colour with youthful rose and violet hues.

The wine has an aroma of satsuma plum, dark chocolate and a touch of subtle spice and white pepper.

This is a medium-bodied wine with fresh fruity flavours of plum initially that transition to spiced fruit compote on the mid-palate. There are enticing hints of chocolate that weave into a fine, delicate tannin structure which lingers enticingly on the back palate. Overall, the wine is well-balanced with a satisfying mix of primary fruit and secondary complexity.

Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions.
