At release, the wine is a youthful medium-bodied red with a vibrant crimson hue and a garnet-toned core.

There are lifted floral aromas of violet and carnation, with hints of mint, green pepper and blackberry fruit. Subtle herbal notes and a touch of pepper spice add freshness and appeal.

This is a fresh and vibrant medium-bodied wine with flavours of wild berry, briar bush and subtle herbal spice. The palate is well-shaped and textural, supported by a fine acid line that adds lift and energy. The wine is beautifully balanced, with a long, refreshing finish that makes it an ideal match for gourmet barbecues or lighter red meat dishes.

The wine was matured in a combination of 3 to 5-year-old American oak barrels, with approximately 20% matured in French oak prior to blending and bottling.

Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions.
