It’s full-bodied and finishes with fruit notes of blackcurrant, mint and dark chocolate. Pair it with slow-cooked lamb shanks or a rich beef bourguignon. It’s drinking beautifully now, but will cellar well to 2028, possibly longer, and will benefit from decanting before serving.
