Tasting Notes

Nose: An aromatic nose of good intensity with plum, blackcurrants and violets and strong cassis. There are ample mint and perfume in the make up too. Behind the fruit is cedar wood and tobacco hints of French oak presence

Palate:The palate has great varietal shape, line and length, with particularly long fine grained tannins which generate the sensation of great concentration across the palate. The texture is fleshy and substantial with flavours of cassis and mint which linger on a fresh, balanced and moorish palate. Should cellar well to 2032 possibly longer.

Colour: Great colour, youthful, rich crimson with a purple red garnet core. Brilliant clarity and good density which should improve for many years.
