A variety made famous in Spain, this McLaren Vale and Clare Valley Tempranillo is medium-bodied with seductive flavours of blueberries, cherries and dark plums. American oak maturation provides subtle savoury and spice characters. It's crafted for immediate enjoyment, but will cellar to 2030, possibly longer in cool conditions. Pairs well with gourmet BBQ, rare premium steak or medium-firm cheese.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Delights with a lifted, fresh aroma of violets and jasmine, complemented by rich blueberry, mulberry and black cherry, warmed with a touch of pepper and spice.

Palate:Medium-bodied and silky, the fruit is juicy and fresh, with great texture and length of flavour, fine-grained tannins leading to a graceful finish.

Colour: At release, this wine has a violet-purple red base with a purple hue and brilliant clarity.
