Tasting Notes

Nose: 2025 was very generous warm and dry with concentrated fruit and that is evident in this wine with violets, blue fruit, a floral note, jasmine maybe, pepper, spice, blueberry and mulberry and black cherry. The aroma is lifted, fresh, varietal and intense and should evolve well over time.

Palate:This wine is medium weight and with great shape focused around the mid palate. The fruit is juicy, fresh, youthful and lush with great texture. The palate has a soft mouth filling lightness and great length of flavour with fine grained tannins which provide a good framework. The oak plays a secondary role holding up the fruit and ensuring a perfume dgraceful finish. Cellarability possibly to 2030, maybe longer in cool conditions. Food match would be gourmet BBQ, rare premium steak and or medium firm cheese.

Colour: A bright youthful wine with a violet purple red base and a purple hue at release, with brilliant clarity of medium intensity. These colours will evolve into the deep red spectrum over the next 2 years.
