Taylor Made Malbec 2026

Nose: The nose of this wine offers a primary core of black cherries and black currants. This is lifted by florals of violets and slight lavendar. There is subtle oak influence which adds depth and complexity in the shape of a cocoa character which compliments the fruit core well.

Palate:This wine is medium in body. with a Varietal medium high acid profile which keeps the palate fresh. The medium tannins of this wine ties in well with the dark fruit and spice flavour profile. Offering Black Cherries, Mulberry and Chinese five spice characters. Oak characters of cocoa add a layer of depth and softness to this wine to help achieve the desired balance. Leaving a mouth watering and flavourful finish of remarkable length.

Colour: The 2026 Taylor Made Malbec is a vibrant and brilliant purple in colour, with a scarlet hue. of medium intensity.

Oak Maturation: Malbec receives maturation in a combination of 2-5 year old American and French Oak Hogsheads. The American oak adds richness and dpeth across the mid palate whilst the French oak adds length of flavour and perfume. Oak contact time is brief at ~ 3 -4 months.

Vintage Condition: Harvest dates from 2026 were slightly later than normal due to the cooler season and ranged from the 13th of March 2026 through to the 21st of April 2026 and in Wrattonbully Malbec was harvested on the 14th of April 2026. Malbec can be known as a late harvesting variety.
