Nose: There are lifted aromas of violet and plum with rich notes of aniseed, clove and black pepper along with subtle hints of apricot, tobacco and cinnamon spice.

Palate:This is a medium-bodied wine with concentrated flavours of ripe plum, red berries and subtle apricot. The palate is layered and textural, with a natural fruit sweetness balanced by fresh acidity and fine-boned tannins from French oak maturation. Notes of cedar, tobacco and spice add depth, while the finish is long, refined and enjoyable.

Colour: At release, the wine is a deep crimson with a dark purple hue to the edges and an inky blood plum core.
