Nose: The nose of this wine features a blue fruit core (blueberries, plum and black cherry), of great intensity. With regional spice notes of black pepper and aniseed ,displaying the terroir of the Clare Valley, and a subtle oak spice influence adding a layer of complexity to the nose.

Palate:The palate of this wine offers the same blue fruited core present on the nose with slight baking spice flavours.

Colour: The Colour of this wine is a deep purple with a scarlet hue.

Oak Maturation: The oak selection for Taylor Made is largely French barriques and hogsheads which vary in age from ~ new to 4 years of age. Approximately 20% may be new barrels in a Taylor Made blend and the parcels are chosen which lift and tighten the fruit and which have great line and length and refined structure. Oak Maturation can be between 9 months to 14 months and is determined by taste. The French oak should share the stage in harmony with regional fruit expression.
