Nose: There are rich blackcurrant and black cherry fruit characters mingling with crushed violet floral aromas, subtle mint/menthol and hints of dark chocolate and cedar from oak maturation.

Palate:This is a full-bodied wine with bold flavours of blackcurrant cassis and rich, dark chocolate overlaying hints of mint and sweet leather. The wine has supple, mouth coating savoury tannins that linger in a pleasing fashion. Overall a most enjoyable wine.

Colour: At release the wine is a deep red colour with a purple hue to the edge.
